Armor, shields, and weapons have a default Luck value of 40. These items can be enhanced with golden ingots, or spined leather (depending on the type of material) for a further +40 luck or to increase the luck of the item to 140.

Certain items, such as the weapon with Hollow-infused components can also be crafted to increase the damage dealt by any ability that is able to deal damage by five percent. These items are available at the store or made using the correct ingredients.

Item Failure

Upgrades to items can be a costly process and not all upgrades will succeed. Cash shop items can be used to increase the chances of success for an upgrade or to prevent players from losing their item if it is not successful.

The rate of success of an upgrade can be seen in the Honing UI. The percentage represents the chance of completing the upgrade successfully, and can be increased by adding Additional Materials or Special Materials.
