greenpower mobility has collaborated with Perrone Robotics to up-fit the EV Star with their TONY (To Navigate You) autonomous vehicle system. This will allow fleets to easily transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star will also be able to support wireless charging at 75 kW.

We had the opportunity to test the EV9 for several hours on a local freeway, and found it to be a breeze to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 can block road noise and wind while on the highway. It is smooth on ruts and humps. The acceleration is extremely quick, and the car comes with adjustable regenerative braking that allows "one pedal driving" by simply taking off the accelerator.

The EV9 is extremely reliable and can be fully recharged in about three hours at home, or using any commercial charger. The driver can choose from two operating modes - eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode is a great way to increase the torque, cruise control and handling while sport mode maximizes speed. Both modes are fun to drive and provide a unique experience for those who haven't experienced driving an electric vehicle before.

GreenPower produces about 10 EV Star buses per month for Jacksonville Transit Authority. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their fleet of diesel vehicles with 100 all-electric cars. GreenPower will increase production to meet the needs of the Biden Administration which wants to electrify all school buses in America.
