Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like crit chance and PvE Damage.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with the item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to give them a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. They can be acquired through crafting, buying from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be used on devices that have slots. The item must be upgraded to blue level before the component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times.
