These methods offer many advantages, including the accuracy and accessibility of EEG signals. However, these methods have limitations in the sensitivity and precision.

Researchers from Aalto University studied the eye movements of children playing a virtual reality game. This was conducted to determine if a ML algorithm could distinguish between ADHD and normal children. The results revealed that machine learning algorithms could be used to detect ADHD children.

Another study looked at the effectiveness of machine learning algorithms. The results showed that random forest methods are more effective in terms of robustness and lower risk prediction errors. Permutation tests also demonstrated greater accuracy than randomly assigned labels.
