Items upgrades are upgrade components which can be added to weapons, armors and trinkets to gain a bonus. They usually come at more cost and require the item upgrader mod to be at a certain level.

Upgrades aren't always worth it for items with high demands. This is especially the case for items that don't roll much like Eth titans.

Glyphs

Once you reach level 50, Blizzard’s action-RPG shifts from its streamlined campaign to the final game. This is the time when things begin to change, as players are pushed into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and new grinds to ensure that their character's build is as strong as possible.

Glyphs play a key part in this process. The higher the Glyph's upgrade levels buffs its stat attributes and radius of effect on the Paragon Board. There are several ways to gain these upgrades, but the majority of players will find themselves relying on the most common method: raiding Faction Crypts.

Glyphs allows you to add symbols to your text. You can select from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. The Glyphs panel shows glyphs based on the font that your cursor is located. You can alter the font or typestyle, and narrow the list to include only punctuation symbols by selecting an option under the entire Font. When you move your cursor over a glyph, you can see its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tooltip.

Once you've inserted a few glyphs and then the Glyphs panel will keep the track of the last 35 distinct ones you used and will make them available under the category of Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you need to expand the panel in order to see all 35). You can also remove the glyph from the list by pressing it using the right-click or Control-click, and then selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.

The Glyphs Panel also lets you to design a custom set of glyphs. This can be useful if you frequently need to type certain types of text. This will save you from needing to manually insert each glyph when you need it.

A custom glyph set can comprise the maximum number of glyphs, 31 that include both the base name and its suffix. The base name must contain uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) and lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9) as well as underscore (_), and other glyphs. The suffix can include ligatures, or contextual alternative. These are special variations which combine two or more letters into one glyph.

Reroll Tokens

Upgrades are the main mechanics that give an additional benefit to items, including stats. These upgrades come in several different kinds: reroll levels up, recycle and reroll. Each type offers a different set of extra bonuses to an item upgrader kit.

Reroll Tokens allow players to change an item's base power and number of upgrades and are also used to reroll substats of ring. This is helpful if a player wants to upgrade an item but the "potential" potential power of that item isn't what they're looking for. Or if their substats of the item aren't what they want to be.

A reroll costs 1 token and will reset all upgrades on an item, but will keep the set, rarity and level unaltered. As an item is leveled up, its tier rises. The main stat of the item upgrade is boosted by 3 points for each level. An additional stat will be boosted along with it. Leveling an item to its max possible level increases its level by 1.

The Blueprint Desk allows players to purchase new appliances, ingredients and Decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints appear in envelopes at the start of each preparation phase. They can be opened using the Grab. Each blueprint has its own icon, and every category of upgradeable item displays an icon that is distinct from the others:

Some recipes require certain ingredients or appliances that are available by selecting the Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Certain appliances and inputs are staples, meaning they will not be available in the Shop or on rerolls, while others will have a greater chance of appearing when the franchise card of a particular brand is chosen at the Blueprint Desk. This is known as the Staple Pool, and the items contained in it will remain in the pool for the rest of the run. Similarly, non-staple Equipment is transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.

Recycled Items

The third "R," recycle, is where the magic occurs. You can help the environment by recycling a product made of recycled materials. Most recycled products are sent back to the original manufacturer to be remade as an entirely new product. We call this "closing of the loop of recycling."

When a person puts something in their curbside recycling bin it is taken to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorting. Then, it gets sold on to manufacturers who will then re-make the item. Items that are typically remade into new products include:

This process reduces the necessity to harvest, grow or extract raw materials to create something else. This helps reduce the harm done to nature. Less trees are cut down and rivers are diverted and wild animals are relocated. It also reduces the amount of pollution created by dumping raw materials into our water, soil and air.

Recycled products help keep local businesses and jobs thriving particularly for those who specialize in recycling materials. This is due to the fact that demand for such products helps encourage businesses to join in this environmentally friendly initiative.

The final reason to purchase recycled products is that it requires less energy to create new items out of recycled materials than to create them from raw materials. The manufacturing process for a new aluminum container requires 95% more energy than the manufacturing of a can made from recycled materials. Every little amount counts.

Leveling

The majority of units can be leveled up which grants them additional XP each time they attack or are attacked. This is used to increase the primary stat of the unit or unlock other upgrades in the unit's tree. Weapons are an excellent example of this, as they improve their level and increase their damage and range.

Most leveling systems have a minimum amount of levels to be reached, but it can differ from game-to-game. The use of materials or coins is the only way to level up. Most systems employ both, but some only employ one.
