Item upgrading allows players to boost the gear score of an item to 700 and also add a final perk. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you decide to take them to the Kiln.

Upgrades to trinkets are a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new one. It can be done by the player for less than 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same base level as the old trinket however, it will also come with an additional bonus of 1% upgrade item.

Trinkets can be upgraded once they're not needed, allowing a player to increase their power and value over time. They can be traded among players, making them an alternative to gold.

Players must upgrade their most valuable items first.
