WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by +3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as useful for the latter due to the need to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item upgrading used for the upgrade item will be consumed forever and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear current, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

The cost of upgrading will vary based on the current level of the gear being upgraded, but will always be cheaper than buying new gear from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades to item upgrading level upgrade (read more on valetinowiki.racing`s official blog) owners for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon, or armor. The button will show a preview of an item's next level of upgrade, if there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the item slot, and the current item level. For example, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades offer discounts on Flightstones. After an item has been upgraded to a certain amount, it can be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lower amount of the two currencies.

A lot of locations offer upgraders for items, including the main Island and a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade coupon and the possibility of obtaining the latest recipe. The discount on upgrades increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players finish certain achievements or quests.

In contrast to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II, there is no item upgrader available in the beginning of Icewind Dale. The NPCs that can assist with upgrades are only accessible through a variety means. This is both a benefit and a disadvantage.

In Season 3, several new features have been added to the upgrade system. After a player has upgraded to a certain item level for an armor slot upgrading other items to the same item level, will cost less. This is true even if the items come from a different set of gear.

The discount is available to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed for upgrades is reduced as well, but is only available after certain milestones are achieved.

Crests

Players have a number of options when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more special, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are the main component of the Dragonflight gear progression system that was introduced in 10.1 and are available in four ranks.

The first thing to note is that crests can only be spent on gear of a specific rank, and that every rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The simplest and easiest upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade item can require up to 20 crests, depending on the kind of equipment being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through working through content that is of the appropriate level, which involves walking around and performing outdoor activities for gear of lower tiers, dungeons or raids of any difficulty for higher-tier items, or Mythic+ dungeons or heroic raid bosses for gear that is used in the endgame. Crests can be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC, such as Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to get the appropriate upgrade routes and steps.

The new currency system isn't too difficult to use, but it does bring some changes to the process of upgrading. For example, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests only have one purpose, so it's important to use them wisely. For instance it's Best item upgrader to use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the top equipment available, and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you plan to make. This is particularly true for items such as trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The discount on the account will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
