10 Healthy Item Upgrade Habits
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements used.
For instance, the top shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for another similar one, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors via a variety of methods such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to produce it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next Success is being rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open they will display a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
