Q: Will the content be removed while you review my request? A: Web form submissions result in immediate automatic hiding. Email submissions are reviewed before any action is taken.

Q: What if I made a mistake in my request? A: Contact us immediately at [email protected] with your Request ID. We can update or withdraw requests that haven't been processed yet.

Q: Can I remain anonymous? A: No. You must provide complete, accurate contact information. This information may be shared with affected parties and is required by law for DMCA requests.

Q: What if the article contains both true and false information? A: Identify the specific false content only. We will not remove entire articles containing mostly accurate information. Be specific about what needs to be removed.

Q: What if my request is denied? A: You will receive an explanation of why it was denied. You may appeal by providing additional evidence or legal justification. You may not repeatedly submit the same request without new information.

Q: Can CEO.wiki be sued for defamation? A: Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, online platforms are generally not liable for user-generated content. However, we take accuracy seriously and will correct or remove truly false and harmful content when properly documented.

Q: Will CEO.wiki defend my takedown request if challenged? A: No. You are solely responsible for defending your request. If a counter-notification is filed, you must file a lawsuit yourself or the content will be restored.
