The upgrade option lets players increase the gear rating of an item upgrader kit upgrader mod (Pattern Wiki published an article) up 700 points, and then give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you bring them to the Kiln.

Weapons

The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will continue to increase until it is required to use the higher level of Smithing Stones, at which point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons will also alter the stats of their base. This is generally a positive aspect, but it may also have negative effects. Upgrades can make items inaccessible, unless you're extremely lucky.

Armor items can be upgraded to improve their performance. For instance, if you have chests or helms, it will boost its base defense while a belt and gloves will enhance their required strength and dexterity. Armor has a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it is able to roll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats that it will gain when upgraded, along with their respective values. This can make it easier to get through difficult areas. In general, the greater defense you have on your character, the greater health you'll get from each point. So, it's best to upgrade your armor.

To upgrade your armor, go to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four fountains in all, and each requires you to complete a special side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the primary side quest and completed the corresponding fountain, you can then talk to any Great Fairy to open up the armor upgrading menu.

The amount of material needed to upgrade each piece of armor will differ. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to five Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, and anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Horns for each subsequent upgrade. For example, the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a decent-sized group of enemies in the majority of cold climates, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded up to +20 defense, giving you enough protection to survive a full on raid with a few of your friends.

You can't upgrade your armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor for physical power or the power of spells. It is recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, such as the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

You can also get some advantages to your armor by giving the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. In general, you should save these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be useful to have some upgrades to your helmets and chest armor that permit you to sneak past some monsters.

Potions

Potions are substances in bottles that, if consumed, give the player a temporary status effect. There are five kinds of potions that have different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded, enhancing their level of effect. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

Potion upgrades cost a specific amount of XP, which can be earned by crafting them on a table or the Alchemist's chest. The price of upgrades is dependent on the type of potion you want to upgrade, as well as on the item's Mark Level and Rarity.

To upgrade a potion you need to right-click it in your inventory. Then, select "Upgrade" from the menu. A trinket is a tiny and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to a small ornament or object that serves a function but is not important such as a thimble. In some cultures, trinkets are used to signify affection or friendship, particularly between family members.

In addition to weapons, armor and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. They can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. Trinkets unlike other items that can be upgraded, can be traded at will without losing stats.

Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of every zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased using tokens, gold, or fragments from rare trinkets.

Upgrading a trinket is an economical alternative to buying new ones. It is possible to upgrade players for just 12 tokens. The new trinket comes with the same base level as the previous trinket but will also have an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.

Trinkets can be upgraded when they're no longer needed which allows a player to increase their power and worth over time. They can be traded among players and are a viable alternative to gold.

Players must upgrade their most valuable items first. This means that the Best item upgrade-in slot items for each class are upgraded first before their secondary gear and finally other equipment that they won't be replacing anytime soon (such as an earring or a cloak).
