Inform your doctor right now if you (or your child): may not be seeing as well as before starting SABRIL; start to trip, run into things, or are a lot more clumsy than usual how many rems is lethal; are surprised by things or people can be found in front of you that appear to come out of no place; or if your infant is acting in a different way than typical.

The Vigabatrin REMS Program is needed by the FDA to make sure informed risk-benefit choices prior to initiating therapy, and to make sure suitable use vigabatrin while clients are treated. It is not feasible for your healthcare provider to understand when vision loss will take place.

The most usual adverse effects of SABRIL in youngsters 3 to 16 years is weight gain. With severe vision loss, you may only be able to see points straight in front of you (often called one-track mind"). You are at risk for vision loss with any type of amount of SABRIL.

Tell your healthcare provider if you are pregnant or plan to get expecting. If vision testing can not be done, your healthcare provider might continue recommending SABRIL, however will not be able to expect any vision loss. Your health care company might stop prescribing SABRIL for you (or your child)if vision examinations are not done consistently.
