What Freud Can Teach Us About Item Upgrade
World of Warcraft item upgrader mod Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The item upgrade is a form of enchantment that increases the stats in certain armor or weapons. This includes tertiary stats such as Leech or Speed.
A special item for evolution that allows Porygon to transform into Porygon2. It is found at Pokestops and Gyms.
Universal upgrades can be applied to any type of equipment and provide smaller bonuses than other components that are specific to the type of equipment.
Leveling
The upgrade system allows players to improve items by increasing their level. The item's "guaranteed bonuses" are also improved by the level increment. Every level increase increases the stats on the item by +1 and adds an extra bonus based on the tier of the item. These extras range from a +3 bonus, to a +1 bonus, to a random buff.
Each item can be upgraded a certain number of times. However, after an upgrade the item is able to be re-transferred into a higher-tiered item that has the same or greater value.
This system is useful for those who want to acquire gear with a certain level of stats prior to purchasing an item that is new. The transfer system is very simple to use and allows players to save up on upgrading materials.
Upgrade materials can be collected by players when they remove content. They can be used to upgrade or replace an item. Every item requires a distinct type of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. When an item is upgraded, these materials are renamed. For instance, Stone Fragments becomes Stones and Harmony Shards becomes Life Shards.
It is important to upgrade items in order to increase the performance of a character. However, it is also important to think about how much this will cost. Every time an item is upgraded, the upgrade costs an amount of gold that could be better spent on the purchase of a new piece of equipment. This is the reason it's recommended to upgrade the most essential items in a particular scenario.
This means upgrading the weapon, followed by the legs, chest and the helm. Upgrade trinkets in this phase when the player has the money to do so. This will maximize their proc potential. For instance, a top-of-the-line Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading for the more damage that its procs can bring. Certain trinkets aren't worth upgrading until they provide an upgrade that is important to the particular build. This is particularly the case for breakpoint gear that is used to boost stats, such as IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is an action that lets players change stats on a weapon, armor or ring depending on its type. It can be used to add new bonuses or replace existing ones. It also alters the power of the base item.
Rerolling is a great method to boost your strength in the early stages however it's not required. Once you've reached your level 6 upgrade goal it's best to go down and look for the best upgrades you can, or save to purchase the next set of items. This will ensure that you have a strong roster by the time you hit the level 9 upgrade goal.
The rerolling process is very similar to the level-up system. Reroll tokens are a way to eliminate any Level Up option from your item and then exchange it for another. However unlike Level Up, reroll tokens do not reset the item's level. This means that if you reroll an upgraded item, it won't be at that level and won't have its added bonus.
Players can also use an additional mechanic, Eliminate, which will remove any level Up option they have on their weapons or equipment. This is beneficial when you have a bad gacha or you want to roll an item that has five stars. To do this, you will have to create an account, or log in through social media.
Additionally, there's an Occultist in every town that can be visited to alter a weapon's or armor's Aspects, stats, or attributes. This is useful if you have an epic five-star unit you'd like to make better or an elite four-star character you are struggling with.
Another way to reroll an item is to use the rerolling tokens that are obtained by completing quests. These can be bought from the Occultist at 300 gold or found in holozons that are dropped by certain dungeons. You can roll any weapon, armor, or ring simply by moving the icon on the page of your unit with the lock in the desired slot.
Sets
A set is a collection of items that are similar in a way. Sets are used every day. For instance dozen eggs or a group of friends. Sets are helpful in organizing things and utilizing operations like intersection, union and difference to manage them effectively. Sets can be utilized in a variety of ways, including arranging music on a list of play lists or dividing students based on their grades.
In Nioh the game, Sets are used to provide special effects when players wear pieces of a set of armor. These bonuses are referred to as Set Bonuses, and they are superior to Effects. While it's not explained in-universe why the armor sets need to be worn together in order to create these effects, they do give some variety when playing the game. The armor sets that have Set Bonuses can be found in various locations throughout Hyrule and include the Dark Moon and Twilight Temple.
Set Bonuses are associated with each piece of equipment within a Set. You can determine which ones are available by hovering over the item and examining the tooltip near the bottom. Set Bonuses are displayed in a box with the red border.
Some of these Set Bonuses are specific to a specific piece equipment. For instance, if have the complete Phantom Armor set you will receive +8 defense (compared to the usual +3 defense included in most gear). Other sets are available only through certain quests or buying them from the Auction House.
It is also possible to acquire Set Bonuses on multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously. If you own the complete Kestra's Descent Set and the matching parts of Twinblade of Shadow, you will receive the + version of the set's bonus if you match them.
Set Bonuses remain the same, even if the equipment to which they are connected is upgraded. If an item is exemplared too low, then the set bonus won't be effective.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are unique effects that can appear on an item set and give a bonus to the player in combat. They offer a specific percentage of a specific statistic, like defenses, weapon damage, or resistances. They don't stack, however; only one of them can be used at any given time. The amount of a stat is determined by the number of pieces included in the set. For example, you can have four weapons and three chests however only one of them will benefit you.
They typically enhance the primary stat but they can increase secondary stats too. Defence bonuses increase three positional defense values and two defense types, so for example a complete five-piece set of Hundings Rage will add up to a total of about 400 defenses in your equipment. This is a significant boost in your gear as a melee.
This is a very useful feature, and it is believed to be one of the most popular features in the game. Currently, only a few gear sets come with set bonuses, and they are only available in the Test Realm, but expect this number to increase once the update goes live. For instance, the extremely popular 7 school specific Dragoon's gear will have its bonus added as soon as the update is live.
Set bonuses cannot be stacked within a set, but they do stack across sets. This is great for players who want to combine sets in the Best item upgrader possible way. It requires some planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an piece of equipment, so you should be aware when placing them.
It is important to know that the value of the set's bonus won't change even if your exemplar is higher than three levels below the minimum required for an Enhancement. Purple (Very Rare) Sets PvP sets, sets for PvP and Archetype Origin sets are exempt from this rule and their set bonuses are in effect regardless of the exemplar level of an item.
