Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.
For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or rings. This swaps the current item for one similar one with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on the equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment in three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by melee and weapons, while spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To make them, you need an upgrade level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an Best item upgrader that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
