Why Item Upgrade Is Your Next Big Obsession

Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item upgrades for one of the same type with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll their equipment into three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher-quality token to reroll. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This lets you save upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.

In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear players must first locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item upgrades. It's an excellent choice for those who wish to gain an advantage in battle but don't want strain their wallets. Additionally players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several methods to get these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will receive an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been reached.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements
