World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and enchantments of items.

They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They can be acquired by contacting the Blacksmith.

The upgrade button can be found on any item upgrading. Each recycled item adds one level to the upgrade gauge.

Weapons

When a weapon is upgraded, it is granted a base damage bonus as well as a scaling factor that can affect other stats. The weapon may also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that provide additional features or effects as well as distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools, and most require that the equipment have an available upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from the weapon, armor or trinket, but it cannot be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-tier salvage tool on the item upgrading it self.

In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded using a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times depending on the weapon's level.

Once the weapon has reached maximum upgrade, it can be reforged with a number of different types of upgrades to increase specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. Several of these upgrades can be applied at once, and their effects are based on the rarity of the weapon.

Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the type of damage a weapon deals.

Generally, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, then armour defense, and then the other secondary stats as required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids enhancing their weapon before any other gear, as this can increase DPS. This is especially true for enchantments, which can be very effective in boosting a weapon's damage and other stats.

Armor

Item Upgrader Kit Upgrades let players improve the base stats of certain armor pieces weapons, trinkets, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also give additional effects, such as additional damage or an enhancement to the appearance of. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors and loot drop, or as quest rewards.

The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. In the majority of cases the armor will be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. This can be done for most types of armor, however certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).

Most armor upgrades increase the strength or defense of an item by a small amount. Some upgrade components, however can result in significant increases in defense or strength. This is especially true when upgrading epic items.

Some upgrades provide specific abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, for instance giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades can have effect that are passive and can be useful like the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.

Based on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item could require multiple tries. If a player wants to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, then the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor with a base defense between 67-77 and the list goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations has a fair with a great power that can improve a piece of armor for you.

Contrary to what many believe it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. Certain armors provide a significant increase in the ability to reduce damage from poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them useful for certain types of builds. There are also ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration or the challenger trait to reduce the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

By placing a potion on the brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new level of potion effects, and can be repeated to unlock higher levels of potency.

The potions also have an individual color, which can be set by the player using /give. The color affects the effect clouds' area-of-effect as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, common and thick potions, as well as awkward potions, now have a different brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory the potion healing and weakness are now available. Addition of lingering potions, that can be prepared using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also included is a thick potion which has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Bug Tracker is the place for you to report issues with this patch.

Trinket

A trinket can be a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It can be a ring or necklace. It could also be a small banner used to mark the yard of a boat. It can also refer to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a vessel.

This macabre trinket appears to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more common. At present the trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more popular, and gives each floor a Y% chance to contain an ebony mimic. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.

This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to alter the dungeon's environment by increasing the probability of generating grass and water. At its current level this trinket can make X% of floors fill with water or grass but doesn't affect enchantments or glyphs, cursed weapons or armor, or other items created to solve hazard rooms.

The item, which appears like eyes of a newt appears to alter your vision in a manner that goes beyond just decreasing your field of view. At the moment, this trinket boosts the overall health of the drinkers of healing, waterskins, and wells of health by X% and gives you vision on enemies within Y tiles. This does not stack with Heightened Senses.

After completing the Mastery Cave After completing the Mastery Cave, you will be able to find Trinkets by defeating Monsters and inside crates and chests in Skull Cavern. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will have an unintended effect on the trinket, either prolonging its life or strengthening its effects. You can reorge the trinket as often as you'd like, but it will always be able to produce an effect that is new.

You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
