World of Warcraft - item upgrader kit Upgrading

Upgrades to items allow players to boost an item's gear score up to 700, and then add a final perk. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you decide to take them to the Kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded to increase their stats (like an ideally made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while others like weapons don't change much post upgrade, so they aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats like crit chance, attack damage PvE and PvP damage. Weapons also have a flat bonus that increases their damage per second. Some weapons also come with a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a single unit. This bonus can sometimes exceed the damage a weapon upgrade can do on its own.

A weapon's upgrade costs depend on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the gun will increase until it needs an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

Upgrading weapons will also reroll their base stats. While this is generally a good thing however, it could have negative consequences too. Upgrades can render items inaccessible, unless you're very lucky.

Armor items can also be upgraded to improve their performance. This will increase the defense base of a chest or helm, while belts and gloves can boost their strength and agility. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it is able to roll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats that it will get when upgraded and their respective values. This means that an upgrade from an 8 attack-damage sword to an 11 attack-damage sword will result in a weapon receiving 3% of attack damage. However the 3% does not mean that it will be hit for 3 times less often, since it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon is possible by pressing the green button in the item level upgrade menu with the circling arrows. This will roll an item and change its statistics, but it will not reset the weapon's level or tie it to the account status.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference to your survival. Certain sets provide massive boosts to poison or curse, fire or magic resistance, which makes traversing tough areas a breeze. The more defense your character is, the more value you get from every point of health therefore it is important to upgrade your armor as much as possible.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains available in the game, and to unlock each one you must complete a side quest that involves the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main side quest and mastered the fountain in question, you can then contact any Great Fairy to open up the menu for upgrading your armor.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded to three levels, and the amount of material and Rupees required for each will vary. In general, you're looking at anything from three to five Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, and anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For example the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep up with a good-sized group of adversaries in most cold climates, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded up to +20 defense, giving you enough protection to withstand an entire raid with a handful of friends.

Be aware that armor can't be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll want to work on upgrading it for physical strength if you're a Warrior or Spell Power if you're a Mage. You should also save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still wear by the end of the story, like the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight The Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town, you can unlock some perks on your armor. Generally speaking, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be useful to have a few upgrades to your chest armor and helmets that let you stealthy battle certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that when consumed by a participant, produce an immediate effect for a short period of time. There are five kinds of potions, each having a specific set of effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to increase their effectiveness. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by adding redstone dust and glowstone dust.

Potion upgrades cost a certain amount of XP. This can be earned by making them on a crafting table or in the chest of the Alchemist. However, the upgrade price changes depending on what kind of potion you wish to upgrade, and also on the item's Mark Level and rarity.

To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This opens an GUI in which you can select the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they will produce when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a single time, and the XP that they generate will be added to your current XP count.

Once a potion has been upgraded, it will not degrade until you re-use it, or break the bottle it's stored in. You can also change the name of the potion by clicking on it in your inventory.

Version 1.7.2 brought a few changes to the mechanism of potions. Splash potions, for instance are now available with a time of that is 0:08 instead of 22.5 seconds displayed on the hover display of the item upgrades. The table for potion is constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. This is the same for using a potion in a cauldron that is full. This will drain the potion, and refill the bottle.

Finally, there are simmering potions made using splash and dragon breath potions. In the same way, a lingering potion can be enhanced by adding redstone to it. The table of potions has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added for instance, the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket can be a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It can be a reference to an object or decoration that serves a purpose, but isn't particularly significant like a tiny thimble. In some cultures, trinkets are used to signify friendship or affection, especially between family members.

In addition to weapons, armor and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. They can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Unlike other item upgrades, trinkets can be traded out at any time without losing their status.

The upgrade vendors are located in major cities and in the capital of each zone, as well as in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be bought with tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to buying a new trinket. It can be done by a player for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as the previous one, and will include an additional 1% upgrade bonus.

When the old Trinkets are no longer usable, they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase both their power and value with time. They can also be traded between players and are an extremely popular alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are first upgraded, followed by their secondary gear and finally other pieces of equipment that won't replace in the near future (such as an earring or a cloak). It is also important to consider your class's preferred stats when deciding the items to upgrade. For example, if Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for a tank it is recommended that they upgrade item their chest, helm shoulders, belt, and helm.

When they are no longer useful trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket has an additional 1percent bonus. A re-upgrade, however, can cause damage to the trinket unless it can be saved using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades but still less expensive than purchasing an entirely new trinket.
