The CEO.wiki Code of Conduct establishes community standards for participation.
Our Commitment
CEO.wiki is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive environment for all contributors, regardless of:

Expected Behavior
All community members should:
Be Respectful
- Treat others with courtesy and respect
- Value diverse perspectives and experiences
- Disagree constructively and professionally
- Assume good faith in others' contributions
Be Collaborative
- Work together toward consensus
- Help new contributors learn
- Share knowledge and expertise
- Build on others' work appropriately
Be Honest
- Cite sources accurately
- Disclose conflicts of interest
- Admit mistakes and correct them
- Represent yourself truthfully
Focus on Content
- Maintain neutral point of view
- Base contributions on reliable sources
- Follow content guidelines
- Prioritize encyclopedia quality
Unacceptable Behavior
The following behaviors are prohibited:
Harassment
- Personal attacks or insults
- Trolling or inflammatory comments
- Threats or intimidation
- Unwelcome sexual attention
- Stalking or doxxing
Disruption
- Vandalism or deliberate damage
- Edit warring
- Spam or advertising
- Sock puppetry (multiple accounts for deception)
- Gaming the system
Dishonesty
- Plagiarism
- Copyright violations
- Fabricating sources
- Undisclosed paid editing
- Impersonation
Abuse of Platform
- Using CEO.wiki for promotion
- Manipulating content for bias
- Coordinated POV pushing
- Violating privacy
- Legal violations
Conflict of Interest
Disclosure Required
You must disclose if you:
- Are employed by a company mentioned in articles
- Have financial interests in companies covered
- Represent CEOs as PR or agents
- Are the subject of an article
- Have close personal relationships with subjects
Paid Editing
- Must be disclosed on user page and talk pages
- Subject to scrutiny and oversight
- May be reverted if not neutral
- Violations may result in bans

Biographies of Living Persons
Extra care must be taken with articles about living CEOs:
- All information must be well-sourced
- Contentious claims require strong sources
- Remove unsourced negative claims immediately
- Respect privacy for non-public information
- Be especially careful with recent events

Enforcement
Warnings
First violations typically receive:
- Informal warnings from community members
- Talk page messages explaining policies
- Assistance in understanding guidelines
Blocks
Repeated or serious violations may result in:
- Short blocks (24 hours to 1 week)
- Extended blocks (1 week to 1 month)
- Indefinite blocks for severe violations
Appeals
- Blocked users may appeal on their talk page
- Appeals reviewed by uninvolved administrators
- Blocks may be reduced or removed if appropriate
Reporting Violations
To report Code of Conduct violations:
- Contact an Administrator
- Email [email protected]
- Post at Admin noticeboard
Include:
- Description of violation
- Diffs (links to specific edits)
- Context and history
- Previous warnings if applicable
Administrator Conduct
Administrators are held to higher standards:
- Must act impartially
- Cannot use tools in disputes they're involved in
- Should explain actions clearly
- Must respond to community concerns
Dispute Resolution
When conflicts arise:
1. Talk it out - Use article talk pages 2. Seek third opinions - Ask uninvolved users 3. Request mediation - Formal mediation process 4. Administrative intervention - As last resort

This Code of Conduct applies to:
- All article and project pages
- Talk pages and discussions
- User pages and interactions
- Off-wiki conduct affecting the project
- Email and private communications about CEO.wiki
Modifications
This Code of Conduct may be updated periodically. Major changes will be announced to the community.
