Upgrade components
Upgrade components are things that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to give an added benefit or additional effect when the equipment is utilized. They can be purchased from vendors or other players, looted or obtained as an incentive, or even created by crafting materials. In addition to providing bonus points, upgrade items can also be cosmetically beneficial.
Infusions, inscriptions, and enhancements are a type of upgrade component. They aren't generally available for general use and can only be applied to ascending equipment or certain non-ascended weapons from the Factions campaign. Infusions can be recovered and inscriptions from your equipment using an Extractor Device, or by salvaging with a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage tool.
Unlike other upgrade Items - Www.northwestu.edu, Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items, can be traded while still attached to the item that they are upgrading, and can be re-used after being reclaimed. These upgrade items are the best way to improve the quality of armor and weapons without spending Dilithium, as they can increase the odds of receiving a quality upgrade by two times.
Upgrade components can be added to an item but the old one is destroyed (except for legendaries and upgraded equipment). Only upgraded items that have an identification level of 0 or greater can have upgrade components added to them. When you upgrade an existing weapon equipped with a suffix or prefix upgrade will display the name of the upgraded item in the same way as it appears in game (for instance, adding a Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be named Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player is limited to up to three upgrade items at a time.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be a valuable addition to any product, because they offer numerous unique benefits and boosts. Some glyphs can also increase the number of affixes attached to an item, increasing the overall power of the item. These glyphs can be obtained by completing dungeons. They can also be found in specific World Tier 3 zones. However, it's important to keep in mind that glyphs cannot be used on a character that has not been able to create an dungeon with a root of the same depth.
To make use of a Glyph you first need to create it using components, and then connect them using anchors. The component will then automatically align itself to other components or paths in the same layer. If you don't wish to create the glyph from components, you can build it using a combination of paths and anchors. Then, drag the element in close proximity to an element highlighted to lock it in place.
Certain glyphs require certain requirements to be fulfilled, such as 25 Dexterity within a specific area on the Paragon Board. Some require a specific number of Primary Stat nodes to be activated and can be a challenge to achieve. Certain glyphs have a radius that increases with each level.
Glyphs are available for a wide variety of items, and are added to all weapons, with the exception for weapons of a particular class. Certain glyphs can be used with additional requirements, like a certain amount of Dexterity damage or Attack damage for a specific part of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph boosts the probability of preventing enemy attacks by 5%. It also has a 15% chance to make the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
Some glyphs can also be used on limited use tools, such as the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. These glyphs count towards the Combat Mechanic Achievement.
The most commonly used glyphs are the attack glyphs which increase the ATK substats of Artifacts by a flat value. These glyphs are especially beneficial for classes that use weapons that are ranged, like Warriors or Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph, which makes enemies who hit the Hero vulnerable to being damaged.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are used to reroll results that are rolled during an Action. After the reroll is completed the tokens are then discarded. Reroll tokens can be obtained in many ways, like raids and dungeons, or through participating in skirmishes. You can also buy them in the shops or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons and trials because they allow players to reroll rewards from the end of the chest.
For items in the range of 1, there are recycling points. If an item is recycled it will add a certain amount of points to the gauge of upgrade. This value scales depending on the item level upgrade's value and rarity. The upgraded item also will not keep its level when rerolled and the cost to recycle an upgraded item rises when its level increases.
Alternatively, a player can use reroll tokens in order to roll an upgrade item upgrading again, but this will not bring the item back to its original condition or provide the original statistics. This is useful for those who want to reroll a product they aren't happy with and want to keep it in their collection.
There are three different types of upgrade tokens available in the game: reroll random and upgrade. Each type comes with several subtypes. For instance, reroll tokens are available in three levels: rare, enhanced and legendary. Each level requires an item from the respective level in order to create an item upgrading of that quality.
To make use of reroll tokens, right-click on the Satanic or Angelic item in the inventory and select "Reroll Token". Select the type of token you want to use. The tokens available include Item Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The use of an Item token will result in a new Item of any type. A Weapon or Misc token can create a new weapon from the same faction.
There is also a chance that the item could be upgraded to a new item that has a higher level and the same additional stats. This is likely to happen if the item is in the Pool that cannot be dropped or was transferred to it as part of an Franchise Card.
