WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases Best item upgrade level by +3. A random extra substat is also added to every upgrade item.

The upgraded gear typically has a more value in trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variation (like eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear current, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current level of the item being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. For example, upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points while purchasing the same item from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items that can be used to level up weapons, tools, armor, and other accessories. They are purchased by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for various currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using an button, which will show a preview of the item when it is upgraded when the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the item slot, and the current item level upgrade level. For example weapons are more expensive than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades give a discount on the Flightstones. After an item has been upgraded to a certain amount and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currencies.

Item upgraders can be found in many places, including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon as well as the possibility of getting a new recipe. The upgrade discount increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased by having players finish certain achievements or quests.

Unlike Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no item upgrading upgrader available at the start of Icewind Dale. Instead, the NPCs that can be used to upgrade are acquired via several methods, which is both an improvement and a drawback.

In Season 3, several new features were added to the upgrade system. When a player has an upgrade to a specific level of an item for a specific armor slot, upgrading additional items to that same item level will be less expensive, even when they are part of another set of gear.

The discount is available to all accounts. Similarly, the amount of Harbinger Crests required for upgrades is also cut and is not available until players achieve certain milestones in their achievements.

Crests

Players have several choices when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to all players for upgrading. Crests are more special and are utilized during specific level upgrades for items. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1, and come in four ranks.

First, you must be aware that the crests can only be purchased for equipment that is with a certain rank. Each rank comes with an upgrade path that is different. The simplest and simplest upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the more complex one requires as many as 20 crests based on the type of gear being upgraded.

Players can obtain crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, whether that involves walking around and performing outdoor activities to get lower-tier gear, dungeons or raids of all difficulty for items of higher tier or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses and dungeons for endgame gear. These crests are then exchanged with an item upgrader (qooh.me) like Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and pathways.

The use of these currencies isn't that difficult however, the system introduces some changes to the overall upgrade process. Once a piece of gear reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it will no longer require Flightstones. This change is designed to allow players to upgrade their equipment up to the highest ilvl possible for all their characters rather than relying solely on seasonal loot.

It's also crucial to choose crests wisely, as they only have one use. It's Best item upgrade to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the top-quality equipment that you can find, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially true for items such as trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The discount for the entire account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
