The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased Best item upgrader, like armor, weapon, or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one similar one and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.

Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchased from the store for 150k each. There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next success is to be rerolled. This helps to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. This makes the system an excellent way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank account. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto the new gear.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. However, there are numerous methods to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets you increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on its type, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade tokens.

Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they get the perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.

When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item upgrading, the game will display an open window that displays the requirements required for that item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will place an item in your inventory when you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade items by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
