The Reasons Item Upgrade Is Everywhere This Year
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the power of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon, or rings. The item is swapped for another similar one with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't keep the original item's level and any money wasted aren't rewarded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment into three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by melee and weapons and spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To produce them, you need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item level upgrade, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next success is to be rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
In the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. These stones can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the durability of the item. It's a great way for players who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want to strain their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be used and a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the Best item upgrader is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades will not be available to it. In the same way, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional benefit or benefit while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through quests, or traded between players. upgrade items components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade Tokens.
Upgrades to items can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed in an item it cannot be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage from weapons.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but because it allows players to gain the most value out of a perfect roll on the item upgrader. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of that item as well as the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing it. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
