What Item Upgrade Experts Want You To Know
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations used.
The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for a different one of the same type with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't keep the same level as the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll their equipment using three aspects: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To create them, you require a higher level reroll token. Enhanced upgrades require a common item upgrader kit, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next Success is to be rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.
In the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, players must first locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. It's an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in combat but don't want to strain their wallets. Moreover players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of methods to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been attained.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at once. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a certain quantity of items to be used, as well as an initial amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can put in equipment that needs to be upgraded, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. When players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of the item upgrader mod will increase by only a tiny amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have a discount.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide additional effects or an increase in quality of the item upgrade. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it can't be removed and substituted without restriction, however glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage to weapons.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but more because it allows players to gain the most value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. This includes the type of item (either weapon or armor) and the tier of the item level upgrade as well as the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the Best item upgrader in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
