Are Item Upgrade As Vital As Everyone Says
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations can be applied.
For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. This swaps the current item for one similar one with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or bought at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of an item for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment in three aspects: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power increases the damage done by melee and weapons, while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item upgrades to a higher quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item upgrader Mod, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item upgrader mod then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item upgrades the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in battle without straining their bank accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are many ways to obtain them. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will be upgraded to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will be increased by an amount of. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its highest level, upgrades are no longer available for it. Likewise, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on its type, but you'll typically need Dilithium and the number of Upgrade Tokens.
Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for additional effects or to increase the level of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, including crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the stats of the item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve an exact roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the necessary requirements. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor), the tier of the item and the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
