The Most Successful Item Upgrade Gurus Are Doing Three Things
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.
The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor or rings. This replaces the item with another of the same kind however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.
The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to produce it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item upgrader mod by increasing its stats or characteristics. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item level upgrade. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. This is an excellent choice for those who want to gain an advantage in combat, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. However, there are many ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by combining an Best item upgrade with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been reached.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be applied, as well as an initial level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer an added bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the quality item. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, including crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade item (you could try this out) "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage from weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they get a perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading The game will then place the item upgrades in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
