For instance, you can choose to have the robot clean up the living and kitchen areas but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and its smart navigation technology are excellent too as the robot is capable of detecting small obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. Its only drawback is that it can hit objects and walls at a high speed, but just a glance at the history of cleaning in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading and the obstacles it's run into or avoided.
A handy LCD screen on the docking station shows you when maintenance jobs need to be done, such as emptying the debris tray, and washing the water tank that is dirty. It's also able to mix detergent automatically into the water tank with a 600ml bottle of Eufy's own solution.

However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by incorporating a dual camera that can detect objects and determine whether they're a wall or another type of surface. It then can automatically alter its path and clean around the objects without a pause.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed however, it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it only has three physical buttons which include the power button which can also restart cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can return the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals the 350ml dust bin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin auto-refills.
The only negative I discovered with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. While you can swap out the mopping cloth (if it's required) however, it's a hassle to take off the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener on mounts, which can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of smart features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app is where you can manage and configure these smart features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to plan cleanings and monitor the battery's lifespan. But you'll need to jump through a few hoops in order to enable voice control with this model, which is a shame considering the quality of its performance.
