10 Healthy Item Upgrade Habits
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.
For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired like a weapon, armor or rings. The item upgrading is replaced by another item of the same type, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't maintain the original level of the item, and any resources wasted won't get compensated.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of the equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To produce them, you need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This helps to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
