The Best Twin Buggy

Built to adapt to your family's needs this inline double features various seating options and can be used for twins or children of different ages. The foam-filled tires will never flatten, and its soft suspension is perfect for roads.

It is easy to travel with because it folds down super-flat and it satisfies the weight requirements of gate-checks for airlines. It also includes an enormous under-seat storage basket, and the sun canopy is four panels.

Leclerc Influencer

With its elegant design, auto-folding feature and cabin approved dimensions the Leclerc Influencer is a great alternative for those who fly. Its folded (and unfolded) width is 47cm which is slightly more than the IATA standard of 45cm. However, it still complies with the airline's hand luggage regulations and can be stored in the overhead lockers during flights (Subject to Airline approval). It was easy to clean with a cloth and there were a variety of extras such as nappy bags, footmuffs, and buggie organizer bags that clip onto handles, and hoods with UV50+ protection.

We love that it is so compact when folded, and that it fits easily through small spaces like shops narrow alleyways and Jane's tiny terrace house and is even easier to manoeuvre up and down the stairs. The bumper bar also functions as a handle. There's also a huge brake that's flip-flop friendly and comes with a colour-coded indicator. The basket is smaller than other models, but it can still hold a large changing bag. There are also trays for storing snacks, drinks and toys.

It's suitable from the time of birth and can be used with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). The backrest is cleverly flattened to make it suitable for long walks or naps. The 5-point harness with magnets makes it easy to use. It's also extremely lightweight at only 6.6kg and includes the travel bag.

Joie Evalite Duo

British brand Joie is committed to "sharing happiness with the new parents" by creating pushchairs that are "functional and innovative, as well as stylish". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It is designed to hold two children at a time in contrast to the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also features stadium-style seating, which lets both children see the world at once.

With a weight of just under 10kg, the Evalite Duo is one of the lightest sibling strollers available. It's suitable for babies from birth and is compatible with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's simple to drive, ride, lift and fold and the frame expands widthways to accommodate the second seat.

Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is a major feature of the Evalite Duo, and they were amazed by how fast and easily it can be put together. They did notice that it was more difficult to navigate bumps and rough surfaces than other models.

They also note that the front seat does not fully recline, and they needed to use their hands to get it down which they would prefer not to have to do when travelling with children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a great stroller that could be improved with a few adjustments. They are impressed by how compact it is when folded.

iCandy Peach

iCandy Peach, a sophisticated tandem double stroller buggy, offers parents the choices they need. It's compatible with a wide range of car seats and folds up easily by using a single to double buggy-click mechanism. It comes with a range of extras, including liners and raincovers. Other brands charge separately for these.

iCandy Peach is a favorite among parents who are fashion conscious due to its fashionable and modern jersey fabric. The 2022 model of the Peach has undergone a number of minor tweaks to improve the performance and function without sacrificing style.

The addition of a ride on board makes this the perfect option for twins. It is also slightly more compact than older Peach models but that doesn't mean it from offering all the space you'll require for your child.

It's a perfect double stroller for parents who need something that looks stylish and offers a lot of flexibility. It can be used from the beginning as a single and double stroller (sneak a peek here) stroller then purchase a double kit to allow it to become a twin buggy. It comes with a large basket and five reclining positions that ensure maximum comfort for your child. It also comes with an integrated carry strap and a single-handed folding mechanism. It's heavy to store, particularly since it folds in two pieces instead of one.

iCandy Orange

This is the best twin buggy on the market. The seats are comfortable and can be outfitted with luxurious footmuffs or liners which should keep your children warm in cold weather. The carrycot can be inserted into the Orange chassis easily thanks to gate-opening side flaps and is spacious and comfortable. Orange chassis can accommodate 30 different combinations of the seat and carrycot.

The wheels are specially designed to take on rough and concrete ground and there's a hefty shopping basket underneath which is ideal for big shopping trips at the supermarket. The pushchair is smooth to drive and has a light feel, and the rounded pedal brake is easy to use (but not a flip-flop-friendly model). It's not the easiest to fold and the latch that holds it folded requires two hands to open. After it's folded, the front wheels tuck under the basket, and the chassis will be able to stand up without difficulty.

The Orange is best suited for parents who are fashion-conscious and have a baby or toddler and want a buggy that'll be able to adapt to the child. It's also a good option for parents expecting another child in the near future and want a movable double pushchair. The iCandy Orange is not cheap however it's a versatile product that it's likely to last a while and have a good resale value as well. It can also take buggy boards, which can help to reduce sibling squabbles over seats!

Mountain Buggy Duet

The company was founded by a New Zealander, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first pram brand that focuses on all-terrain double pushchairs. The Duet side by side double stroller-by-side twin stroller is sleek and slim and is able to slide through the doorways and move easily through narrow aisles of shopping. It is one the smallest and most feature-packed double buggies on the market and has won numerous awards, including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.

The seats are wide enough to let children of varying ages to sit comfortably together. They also have independent reclining so that kids can pick their preferred seating position. The large canopies feature solar visors that flip out and the storage basket offers plenty of space. It works with most brands and accepts two infant car seat adapters when you purchase car seats.

The only issue is the weight. It is heavy at 32.4 lbs and may be difficult to lift out and into of the trunk for Grandma. It is priced higher than other double buggy that converts to single side-by-side buggies. However, it has been made to last and has a lot of features for the money. It is a great choice for urban parents who want to avoid lugging a heavy stroller around. The straps that are padded and buckles with five points make it safe for babies.

Bugaboo Donkey twin

The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with an elegant design. It's a high-quality product but it's not without faults.

For one, it has only a handful of additional conveniences for the kids and the parents. There's a small side bin beside the seat, but it's only accessible when the seat is connected and that's the only thing it has. There are no cups, tray for parents or accessory pockets. This could be a problem during long journeys.

The seats don't recline to a very flat position, and the gap between them is quite wide which is why our 5 year old had trouble lying back in a comfortable position. That's a shame considering it's a premium model.

It's easy to move and the swivel wheel is great for climbing up stairs and slopes. It's also slim enough to fit through the majority of doors and folds easily for easy storage and transportation. Additionally, it can be converted into mono mode with just three clicks should you require more space or want to make a quick getaway. The comfort wheeled board can also accommodate a third kid if needed. It's pricey, however for those on a budget there are alternatives out there. If you're a fan of the brand and can afford it, it's worth the price.
