Upgrades can increase the power of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations used.
The racial Shield elite Razortail For instance, it is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for another of the same type with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.
The survivors can get reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of an item, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next Success result is repeated. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open, they display a full description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
In the course of an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by combining an Best item upgrader with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item upgrade will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. The process will continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at a time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be applied and an appropriate amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can place a piece of equipment to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will come with discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the type of item but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade item components to weapons and equipment. These will provide more effects or an improved item level. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it can't be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.
Upgrading an item upgrader can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item level upgrade.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases the base defense and gives an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats, but because it lets players get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
