Coinbase Global, Inc. is an American publicly traded cryptocurrency exchange platform headquartered in San Francisco, California. Coinbase is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States.

Overview

Founded in 2012 by Brian Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam, Coinbase became the first major cryptocurrency company to go public on NASDAQ in April 2021. The platform enables users to buy, sell, and store various cryptocurrencies.
