However, unlike the i7+ or other top-rated robots we tested the i3+ does not have any obstacle-avoidance features and therefore it could get stuck on things such as power cords or socks, and it can have difficulty navigating across surface transitions like hardwood to rug.
iRobot suggests that you clean the area in which the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or other items it may encounter. It's also an excellent idea to keep the dustbin and filter clean so that they do not become blocked by dirt. If the i3+'s internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station and empties the dirt into the station’s external dustbin. It then continues cleaning from where it left off. The i3+ EVO's battery can last for about an hour and a half of continuous use. It takes around three hours to fully recharge.
2. IRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model in the iRobot flagship line and has the most up-to-date features. It's self-charging and self-navigating. But the most important feature is its auto-emptying bin. This removes the need for routine maintenance.

In our tests the i7+ performed quicker and more maneuverable than our top choice and the eufy RoboVac G30, and it took large pieces of pet hair from all surface types, including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying garbage bin, which eliminates major sources of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.
We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot to start, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room and vacuum a particular area. Connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. Once connected, we were able to give the i7+ voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s preferences and monitoring its performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
In a world of cordless vacs that feel like minivans or buses, this tiny Dyson model feels like an automobile. It's got the power and features to replace a stand-up vacuum in many households and can fit nicely on the coffee table or shelves where you can move it around like an enchanted tool.
The V10 is powered by a 7-cell, high-energy lithium-ion battery that can provide fade-free power for 60 minutes. The sophisticated whole-machine filter system is able to trap allergens and then releases fresh air into your home. Its specialized cleaning head drives stiff nylon bristles deep into carpet to suck up large particles and fine dust. It has three suction modes to match the task being performed. It is able to quickly change between handheld and floor vacuum and vice versa.
The model comes with a dock that can charge the Dyson to 100 percent in 3.5 hours. It also offers the ability to connect two attachments and an wand. This is a major improvement over earlier Dysons that require a long charge and are difficult to store.
The main drawback of the V10 is its limited running time. The claims of its marketing that it has up to 60 minutes of run time are a bit misleading as CR's tests show. This is a typical, not an exceptional, time for an electric cordless vacuum powered by batteries. It's enough time to clean the average-sized home but not enough to reach every spot. (A second time is usually sufficient). That's not to say this model doesn't have its benefits It's lighter and more maneuverable than older cordless Dysons and its vacuuming performance is noticeably better on low-pile carpet.
4. iRobot Roomba 694
The 694 is a basic robot vacuum that's an excellent choice for those who don't have lots of money to invest in the latest model of robot. It's capable of sucking up a variety of debris types and sizes during our tests, and it frequently goes over the same areas multiple times to get a really thorough clean. Its flat front allows it to reach the corners and the edges of walls.
Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt to stay clear of obstacles and navigate your home, but it's not equipped with the ability to map that comes with more sophisticated models such as our top choices and the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. It is prone to getting stuck on phone cords or furniture and will often run out of power before returning to its original location.
The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways over the Roomba 694, as it has less parts that require regular cleaning, comes with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtering system, has a lower cost of recurring costs and has more advanced automation capabilities and is better able to move its own. The eufy RoboVac X8 has a superior battery longevity than the Roomba 694. It also has physical boundaries strips that can be controlled with your smartphone's voice assistant. It is also more robust, has a more powerful motor, and is more effective on low-pile and bare floors.
5. Samsung Jet Bot AI+
