GSK plc (formerly GlaxoSmithKline) is a British multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company headquartered in London, England. GSK is one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies.

Overview

GSK was formed in 2000 through the merger of Glaxo Wellcome and SmithKline Beecham. Under CEO Emma Walmsley, the company has focused on prescription medicines and vaccines, spinning off its consumer healthcare division as Haleon in 2022.
