The i3+ doesn't have obstacle avoidance capabilities like the i7+ or other top-rated robots we tested. It can get stuck on power cords or socks and have trouble moving between surfaces, such as rug and hardwood.
iRobot recommends that you tidy up the area where the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or other clutter it might come across. It's also an excellent idea to keep the dust bin and filter clean so they aren't clogged by dirt. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or the battery is empty it will return to its docking station and automatically emptying its trash into the station's external dustbin, and then continues cleaning the area where it left off. The i3+ EVO's batteries last for about an hour and a half of continuous use, and it takes about three hours to recharge.

The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. Its biggest advantage over the eufy, is its self-emptying dustbin which eliminates a major cause of maintenance and lowers recurring costs.
We were also awestruck by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning routines, move itself around the room, and even vacuum an area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and straightforward using the iRobot Home app. Once connected, to voice commands to the i7+ for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
This tiny Dyson model is a sports car in a world of vacuums powered by cordless that resemble minivans and buses. It has the power and features to replace a stand-up vacuum in many households however, it can also fit nicely on the coffee table or a bookshelf where you can wave it around like the magic tool.
The V10 is powered by a 7-cell energy-dense lithium-ion battery that produces energy that is not faded for 60 minutes. The advanced whole-machine filter system captures allergens, and then releases fresh air into your home. Its specialized head uses stiff nylon bristles that penetrate deep into carpets, and then pick up large crumbs or fine dust. Because of this, it can sometimes get stuck on things like phone cords or low furniture, and it often is power-depleted before returning to its base.
The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways to the Roomba 694 in that it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning, is outfitted with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtration system, incurs lower costs for recurring expenses, is more sophisticated in its automation capabilities and is able to better move its own. However, the HRV 425BL kept moving across the border, but it didn't register it as an incline. The ability to set up weekly cleaning schedules is a great time-saving convenience.
