Sundar Pichai (born June 10, 1972) is an Indian-American business executive who is the chief executive officer of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google.

Early Life and Education

Pichai Sundararajan was born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. He earned a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, an M.S. from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Career

Google

Pichai joined Google in 2004 and led product management and innovation efforts for Google Chrome and Chrome OS. He became CEO of Google in 2015 and CEO of Alphabet Inc. in 2019.
