WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boosts in certain stats. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. A random substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for the latter due to the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be used to create enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks to keep your equipment up-to-date.

The cost of upgrades will vary based on the current level of the gear being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items that are used to level up weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased by players from NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for various currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be applied to any weapon, tool or armor. button, which displays an image of the item when it is upgraded if the player has sufficient materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the item slot and the current level of the item, with weapons costing more than bracers or gloves, for example. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. Once an Item Level upgrade has been upgraded to a certain degree it is able to be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lower amount of both currencies.

A lot of locations offer upgraders for items in addition to the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount and a chance to obtain a new upgrade items recipe. The upgrade discount increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players complete certain achievements or quests.

In contrast to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no upgrader for items available at the start of Icewind Dale. The NPCs who are able to facilitate upgrades are only accessible through a variety of methods. This is both a benefit and an issue.

In Season 3, a number of new features were added to the upgrade system. Once a player has upgraded to a specific level for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same item level will cost less. This applies even if the items come from an entirely different set of gear.

The discount applies to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players have reached certain milestones in their achievements.

Crests

Players have several options when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to everyone for upgrading. Crests are more specific and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are an integral part of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System that was introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

First, you should know that the crests can only be purchased for equipment that is of a certain rank. Each rank has an upgrade path that is different. The most basic and straightforward upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the more complex one may require as many as 20 crests based on the type of equipment being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through completing tasks at the appropriate level. This could be by doing outdoor activities or doing dungeons or raids in all difficulties to get equipment of lower tier or Mythicbosses of raids or dungeons that have a high difficulty to obtain endgame gear. The crests can then be exchanged with an upgrader like Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and routes.

Using these new currencies isn't too difficult however, the system introduces some modifications to the upgrade process. For example, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest upgrade level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This change lets players upgrade their gear to the highest level possible on all their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests only have one use and it's crucial to make use of them in a responsible manner. It's Best item upgrader to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear you can find and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is particularly relevant for rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character which can only be eligible to benefit from the account-wide discount if all slots are full of high-quality equipment.
