However unlike the i7+ or other top-rated robots that we test, the i3+ doesn't have obstacle-avoidance capabilities which means it can be stuck on things like power cords or socks, and it can have difficulty navigating across surface transitions, such as from hardwood to rug.
iRobot recommends that you tidy the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other clutter it might encounter. You should also keep the dustbin and filter free of dirt to prevent them from becoming clogged. If the i3+'s internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station and takes the dirt out of the docking station's dust bin. It then continues cleaning from where it started. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for about an hour and a half continuous use, and it takes around three hours to fully recharge.

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the top model of the flagship line from iRobot, and it has the most up-to-date features. The i7+ is more efficient and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from any surface including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin which eliminates major sources of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.
We were also impressed by the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot to begin or stop cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room and to vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. After connecting we were able to communicate with the i7+ using voice commands, such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." However, this model doesn't have its benefits It's lighter and more agile than older cordless Dysons, and its vacuuming performance is significantly superior on carpets with a low pile.

It was able to pick up most types of debris in our tests and would often go over the same area many times for an efficient clean.
