Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday robot vacuum deals black friday Vacuum Deals
If you've ever thought of purchase a robot vacuum, now's your chance. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart vacuum mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its most significant breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of the object it comes across to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop that we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills effortlessly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't clean in areas you don’t wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it with a voice.
Its design is also a step above the competition and features a sleek, top piece that looks more like a toy robot vacuum deals rather than a loud, loud one. Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal It also self-empties which will cut down your cleaning time.
In our tests the j7+ performed quick to clean up dust, dirt and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in place instead of scattering it on the floor. It was able to capture sand, small gravel and even a little grit. Most robots could not achieve this feat. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.
While it's not quite as sophisticated as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who require both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to know if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you want a robot cleaner vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors then a hybrid is the best robot vacuum cleaner choice. These bots are equipped with a water tank, so they can vacuum and mop at the same time. These bots also come with many additional features such as smart mapping and small object avoidance and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.
Roborock produces some of our favorite robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't perform to the standards. It's their most affordable robot vacuum auto-empty model. While it's not equipped with certain features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great option if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save hundreds of dollars.
The Q5+ is noticeably soft around obstacles like tables and walls which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality fall short. The Q5+'s navigation is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls and in corners.
The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled via a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones or alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.
If you select the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place, emptying the bin is done without difficulty. It also features a large LCD display that is great to have when you're setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't an essential feature for the majority of people but it will help you keep the track of your robot's maintenance intervals effortlessly.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and features are among the top available - but it's also pricey.
Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is quite compact. But the station's main selling feature is the way it automatizes many tasks and functions that most other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot fully charged and clean.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the few robot vacuums I've tried that does an excellent job of picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
But the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the house. It's not able to climb stairs as well as some competitors, either and doesn't come with a dock that allows you to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for plush carpets.
Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for an all-around great robot vacuum and mop that's worth the premium price tag.
If you're looking to save money or don't want to think about the limitations of this robot, there are plenty of alternatives available with a wide range of eufy models that cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers a similar in-app experience with more features, including the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of creating robot vacuums that strike the right balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning on hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a reasonable price. It's easy to set it up, simply attach one of the side brushes and then turn it on. Then plug in your charging dock. The app walks you through a few steps to connect it to Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock will need to be located near an outlet with enough space to move.
The G30 is a tiny device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, which means it can fit under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is less ostentatious in comparison to other models. It has a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern for two minutes), Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.
The way in which the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from its rivals. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects it encounters, remembering what it's already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.
The elegant G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, has a similar battery life, and is more effective on bare flooring or carpet with a low pile. It has a larger dust bin, which doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is, however is less expensive and a lot more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and it has less trouble with heavy materials such as cereal.
