We had the chance to test drive the EV9 for a few hours on a local freeway and found it easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The ride is smooth on bumps and ruts, and the EV9 does an excellent job of suppressing wind and road noise on the highway. The car's acceleration is surprisingly fast, and it comes with adjustable regenerative brakes to enable "one-pedal driving" simply by lifting off the accelerator.
