We were allowed to test drive the EV9 on an unpaved highway for several hours and found it easy to drive, and comfortable to drive long distances. The EV9 can block road noise and wind while on the highway. It glides effortlessly over ruts and humps. The vehicle's acceleration is surprising quick, and it has adjustable regenerative brakes that allow "one-pedal driving" simply by releasing the accelerator.
