9 Lessons Your Parents Teach You About Item Upgrader
World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Item upgrades can be used to improve the stats of an item. Depending on the upgrade type it can increase an item upgrading's Mark Level or Rarity, as well as boost other stats.
Each item comes with a track for upgrading it. Each upgrade increases the cost of the next item upgrading by a specific amount.
Item Level
The value of an item's stats base increases as it is upgraded. This value is the sum of an item's leveled-up perks (attack magic attack and defense). Upgrades to items can be costly dependent on the upgrader and the kind of upgrade you decide to make. This is due to the sheer number of perks that need to be changed in order to upgrade an item.
It can also be used as a gating requirement when waiting for dungeons, raids and scenarios. It also serves to determine a gating condition when queueing for dungeons, raids and scenarios, and to limit the amount of PvP gear players can wear (since PvP is restricted to a lower level). The average level of an item is listed on the character sheet.
The level of an item can help players compare the power of equipment when they decide to buy or sell. It's a sign of the damage and quality. Comparing items in the inventory of a seller is possible using the level of the item.
The item level can be viewed by pressing the ALT key on a PC or using the left stick (L3) on XB1 and PS4. This will display the full item description, including its ilvl. You can also locate it by hovering over an item and typing /itemlevel into chat.
There are several theories about how the calculation of an item's level is made. One theory suggests that the item level is calculated using formulas that determine the worth of an item's stats really are. It considers that different perks are valued differently, and that gems in the sockets increase the item's value. This can result in an item's ilvl calculated, which is typically very close to Blizzard's real level of the item.
However, this isn't the only factor which affects an item's ilvl, since the level of the region the item is dropped into can alter the value of its stats, for example by adding an amount to its haste or crit rating. This means that items that drop at higher levels will have more value than items dropped in lower-level instances.
Item Stats
Item stats can be the difference between a good or bad item for players. The game uses them in various ways to encourage players to not limit themselves to one weapon and to motivate them to try out other weapons. The base stats on a weapon are enhanced by the weapon's stat modifications, which are themselves enhanced by the player's level.
The upgrades to an item can boost its stats. The costs for upgrades are determined by the rarity of the item. A grey or white item upgrading for instance, can only be upgraded once however, items that has rare tiers can be upgraded multiple times with higher costs.
Another method of altering the stats of an item is to use affixes. These are special stat boosts that can be added to an item by the player, and they come in all shapes and sizes. Affixes can provide the item additional damage, or give a specific ability to the item (such as reviving the dead or cutting down the cooldowns), or make the item unique by giving an additional name to the item.
Presently, all affixes are able to be changed by selecting them from the upgrade window and pressing the green button, which is accompanied by the arrows that circle. This will cost a certain amount in gold and items. These can be used as upgrade gauges similar to other rerolling methods.
In addition to rerolling affixes, players can also choose which stats they want to keep on an item after it is upgraded. The possible stat ranges of an item are determined by the item level, but all items are guaranteed to have at minimum one stat within the specified range, unless it's a unique item or an item that is a God roll from a boss in a raid.
Another thing that could change is the option to upgrade equipment without having to roll the affixes, or choose which stats to increase. However, as with the base equipment, this would need to be done on a per-item basis and the interface for comparing items would not display all the possible stats either lost or gained at the same time.
Item Luck
The Luck stat of a player stacks up to increase the chances of finding items as well as the properties that appear on loot drops and the intensity of the properties. However, it doesn't directly affect damage or ability to upgrade items. It merely gives the player a chance to upgrade their equipment in earlier waves and is therefore more valuable in the early game as opposed to later ones, since most players prefer higher weapon scaling and defenses over damage gains.
Luck can also increase the chance of upgrading items at the Blacksmith. This is not to confuse with the Blacksmith's overall chances of upgrading, which increase with each item level. It is also possible to be increased by using anti-materials, such as the Scroll of Strength and a Jewel of Blessing.
Armor, shields and weapons can be created or spawned by using the Luck property, which has a default value of 40. These items can then be enhanced with golden ingots, spined leather, or oak boards (depending on the material of the item) to grant a further +40 Luck or to increase the Luck of the item up to 140.
Moreover some items, like the Hollow infused weapon can be outfitted to increase the damage dealt by any damage-dealing skill by five percent. These items can be bought in the shop, or they can be crafted using the right ingredients.
Item Failure
Not all upgrades work. Cash shop items can be used to boost the success rate of an upgrade, or to protect players from losing their items if it does not work.
The rate of success of an upgrade is displayed in the Honing UI. The percentage is the probability of successfully upgrading the item. This can be increased by using Additional Materials or Special materials. The chance of success can only be increased so much, and the chance that the upgrade will fail cannot exceed 100%.
The performance of an can be affected by the luck of that item. Every item has an average success rate of 25 percent and each item that has Luck increases the chance of success by 5%.
The upgrade overlays for items are displayed above items in the inventory. This could block enchantment effects as well as other effects. If you wish to disable the upgrade overlays, the config option decoration.renderUpgradeOverlays can be set to False in the Item upgrader (Www.hebian.cn) CORE client config.
