Items upgrades are upgrade components that can be added to weapons, armors and trinkets in order to gain a bonus. They usually come at more cost and require the item to be at a certain level.

Glyphs allows you to insert symbols into your text. You can choose them from the menu to the left-hand side of the screen. The panel initially displays glyphs in the font where your cursor is located however, you can also view another font or type style, and narrow the list of glyphs to a specific subset by selecting one of the options below the Entire Font (for instance Punctuation shows only punctuation symbols). When you hover your mouse over any glyph, you'll be able to see its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tooltip.
The Glyphs Panel will keep track of your most recent 35 glyphs and display them under Recently Used in the first row (you need to expand the panel so you can see all 35). You can also clear this list by right-clicking or Control-clicking on a one of the glyphs in the list, and selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
Another benefit of the Glyphs panel is that it permits you to create and modify the glyph set you want to use, which is helpful when you have to type certain types of text frequently. This will save you the hassle of manually inserting each glyph when you require it.
A custom glyph set may contain a maximum of 31 glyphs, including both the base name and its suffix. The glyphs of the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z) and lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9) and underscore (_). The glyphs that make up the suffix could include ligatures or contextual alternates which are variants that combine two or more characters into a single, visually unified symbol.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the principal mechanic that provides extra bonuses on items, such as more stats. Upgrades come in types: rerolls, level up and recycle. Each upgrade items type comes with a unique set of bonuses that are added to the item.
Reroll Tokens allow players to change the power of an Best item upgrade's base and the number of upgrades it has and are also used to reroll ring substats. This can be beneficial if an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is lower than the player would like or if the item's current substats are not ideal.
Rerolling costs 1 token, and will reset the item's upgrades, but will keep the rarity, set, and level intact. When an item is leveled up, its tier rises. The primary stat of the item is boosted by 3 points for each tier. A random extra stat will be boosted along with it. The rank of an item rises by 1 each time you level an item to the maximum possible level.
The Blueprint Desk allows players to purchase new appliances, ingredients, and Decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints are provided at the start of each Preparation Stage and appear as envelopes which can be opened by pressing the Grab. Each blueprint has a unique icon, with each category of upgradable Item Upgrader kit displaying various icons:
Some recipes require the use of certain ingredients or appliances, and these can be obtained by choosing the Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Certain appliances and inputs are staples, meaning that they won't be available in the Shop or on rerolls while others have a higher likelihood of appearing if an appropriate franchise card is selected at the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all the items will be for the duration of the game. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The magic happens with the third "R," recycling. You can help the environment by recycling a product made of recycled material. Most recycled items are returned to their original manufacturer to be remade into an entirely new item. This is referred to as "closing of the loop of recycling."
When a person places something in their curbside recycling bin the item is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) where it is separated and sorted into different components. Then, it gets offered to manufacturers who will re-make the product. Items that are often made into new products are:

The last reason to purchase recycled is that it takes less energy to produce new products from recycled materials than to make them from raw materials. Leveling
Most units are able to increase their level, giving them more XP each time they fight or are attacked. This XP can be used to increase their primary stat or unlock additional upgrades on the unit's development tree.
