Are Item Upgrade As Important As Everyone Says
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.
For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for another similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on the equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage caused by melee and weapons and spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item upgrader mod to higher quality. To make them, you need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next success result is repeated. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's store will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, players must first locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's level, and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item upgrade onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous methods to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item upgrader mod a boost in that area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be added and a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can place a piece of equipment to be upgraded, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base Best item upgrade will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade Tokens.
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher quality item. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, including crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Some items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more for the fact that it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the required requirements. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the level of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader; try this web-site, NPC.
