World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade

Item upgrade allows players to raise the item level upgrade level of armor and weapons that can be equipped. This boosts the stats of the item and may also include buffs or rerolls on an attach.

It is important to note that even though you can upgrade magic and other common equipment, it's usually not worth the cost. Rare and unique gear can quickly outperform upgraded magic and common equipment.

Cost

The player has to spend gold to upgrade an item. The cost of upgrading an item is contingent on its current level and the type of upgrade selected. For example upgrading a weapon will typically be cheaper than upgrading armor, as weapons require lower levels of skill. The amount of Gold required for upgrading an item increases as the item is upgraded.

The upgraded items will also have improved stats that can improve its performance in different ways. This could include boosting its attack power or critical strike chance. An upgraded item may also add additional benefits to the weapon it is equipped with. These upgrades are able to boost the overall strength of a unit or individual unit, and could have a significant impact on the gameplay.

Items can be upgraded by any item upgrader NPC in the game. In general these NPCs are found in major cities or questing locations. You can also find upgrades for items in dungeons that feature high-level bosses and talking to NPCs at the garrisons of your faction.

The item upgrade system in World of Warcraft provides players with the option of upgrading the levels of armor, weapons, and trinkets. This process is largely identical to the process of reforging gear in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor however instead of using the appropriate currency players must visit an item upgrader NPC to complete the process.

Item upgrades can be costly, especially when it comes to weapons and armor. Based on the upgrade path, each step up in level of the item could cost many Valorstones and crests. The total costs can be very prohibitive for players who don't have the funds or aren't willing to grind them.

Fortunately, the game lets players roll an upgraded item using an additional tool available in the menu for items. This option allows you to replace the upgraded item with the level 1 version which has different bonus effects. This can help you get higher scores on items that have been upgraded, but can be a waste of resources.

Requirements

Upgrading is the procedure of increasing the level of the items that are equippable like armor, weapons and trinkets. This improves their stats and can make them more effective in combat. Players can upgrade their gear by spending the appropriate currency at an item upgrader NPC. Players should be aware the fact that certain upgrades require specific requirements.

Early upgrades increase the power of the base item by one level. Later upgrades give significant boosts. For instance upgrading a weapon from level three to level six can increase the weapon's damage by plus two levels. A bonus stat will be added to the upgraded item based on the level. The bonus is a combination of a guaranteed substat as well as random generated stats that can vary from upgrade to upgrade.

A player can reroll an upgraded item by using a Reroll Token to exchange the upgrade for a brand new one. The new item will come with an additional set of bonuses as well as a lower base item level. The rerolled item also has different requirements for dexterity and strength. It is important to note that the rerolled item does not retain its original level or even a fraction of its resource.

Rerolling upgraded items is only possible if the item upgrader mod was upgraded was Epic Rare, Rare, or Unique. Additionally, exceptional items can be rerolled but the original stats are replaced by an uncapped bonus. Rerolling a Rare or Epic item will produce an ordinary version, while rerolling the Epic version will result in an elite version.

A newly upgraded item could come with additional modifiers, which can increase the stats of the item and enhance its performance. These additional modifiers do not come with the upgrade cost. They can be purchased at the Trading Post, or through other players. Alternatively, they can be earned by completing specific missions in the game.

To upgrade a piece equipment, you need to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Based on the kind of item, you will need one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is droppable from monsters 21+ and Giants and Dice 12 can be obtained from Bosses). Additionally, you will require different quantities of Minerals and Erons.

Time

Upgrades to items can be used to increase the performance of your equipment and ship without the need to level them. Upgrades aren't cheap but they are a good way to increase your stats without having to spend so much time in battle. It's crucial to know the costs and benefits before investing your time or money.

Each upgrade items increases the stats of the item by in a specific amount, and gives a chance to get a bonus substat. The random substat could vary from a modest boost to a much larger boost. Make sure to focus on the stats that perform best in slot first. They will provide a higher returns for your money.

You can view the time required to complete an upgrade if you open your inventory and choose the weapon, ship or other accessory. The upgrade window will then display the progress and expected completion time. In certain cases, you may be able speed up the process of upgrading by applying a Glyph.

It is also possible to retrieve any or all of the upgrade components from an item using a special high-tier salvage kit, which is offered by Black Lion Salvage and Ascended Salvage. However, this doesn't include legendary equipment and upgrades that can only be retrieved using an Upgrade Extractor or returning them to the appropriate merchant of karma.

Rewards

The upgrading of items grants players money and a variety of items. In addition, each upgrade is able to grant a random extra stat bonus. The bonus value is different for every upgrade, and is typically higher for items that are rarer. The Great Vault can be searched by players to determine whether an item upgrader kit can be upgraded. The search can assist in determining whether the item is in a certain class and whether the player would benefit by an upgrade.

During the upgrade, the item will slowly move closer to the next level but it is not always able to reach its fully upgraded bar. This process makes use of Growthstones and Sollant but there's a chance of obtaining a fully upgraded item within just one cycle. The higher the level an item attains, the higher its boosted stat value and the more items it can upgrade to.

Upgrade components can be inserted into armor, weapons and trinkets to give an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is being used. Certain upgrade components come with cosmetic effects. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, purchasing from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving them as gifts. Additionally, players can recover upgraded items using an Upgrade Extractor or by salvaging them with a high-tier salvage kit. Glyphs that are placed on tools for gathering can be swapped freely.

A player can turn an item to upgrade it into another item by selecting it and pressing the green button an arrow that indicates reroll. This will change the layout of the game and allow players to select up to six items to be used for "recycling". The item will be replaced by an item of level 1. Rerolled items won't retain their level or the amount of resources needed to upgrade them.

The maximum upgrade level of an item is determined by the item's tier and its quality. Rare and Epic items are able to be upgraded to levels of nine, whereas common items can only be upgraded to level six. Item upgrades are added to the base statistics of the item and do not increase after a specific point.
