Born in Naples, Italy, Freda spent over 25 years at Procter & Gamble before joining Estée Lauder in 2008. Under his 15-year leadership, Estée Lauder transformed from a primarily U.S.-focused company into a global prestige beauty powerhouse, with significant growth in China and other international markets. He received Italy's Cavaliere del Lavoro and was made a Knight in France's Legion of Honor for his contributions to the beauty industry.[4]
