World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses, such as PvE damage and crit chance.

If the weapon's upgrade template ends in %, it will increase 3% of its previous attack damage every time it is upgraded.

The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the item's current level. The cost increases as the item's level rises.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons and armor to give them a stat boost or add a bonus effect. They can be acquired through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment that has a slot to accommodate them. The item must be at a minimum upgraded to blue level for a component to be used. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and Enrichments are type of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascending equipment, as as some non-ascended items. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix may be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it is used on (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions of the item using the smallest amount of Upgrade crystals than they require to achieve the same level using normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defence attributes of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades can be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanic. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear or by buying them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals.

The player can get a maximum of five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-tier version of the item will be available during the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're not sure of the extent to which it will increase after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item could be costly and it is likely that the item will become obsolete or even break when the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items to increase or even eliminate the chances of failure, and some upgrades that offer a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs increase the power of all nodes within the area around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as you can to level 15.

In the endgame you'll find that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded directly to level 15 and offer a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes more quickly.

Glyphs, the only upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and replaced again, are the most common. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

Each Glyph has a certain range of values it can improve a stat by. The value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of an Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use, and through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

When you have the desired Glyphs then you have to put them on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a special bonus that will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes that are within the radius of the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Using Glyphs Glyph will boost all nodes connected to it, and you should aim to place your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximize the impact. For example, a Druid should try to position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes but you should also be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes too.

Leveling

The item upgrade system allows players to boost the power of certain items by adding upgraded components. This is often referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned a level that determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be upgraded until they reach a maximum level of 385 ilvl. Each level requires a different amount of components, and the upgrade costs increase as the item gets leveled up.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by the completion of Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or bought from NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns several Technology Points. These points can be used to leveling up an item. When enough points have been earned you will be able to claim your upgrade and receive its additional bonuses.

When an individual player upgrade a piece of equipment, the base item will be replaced by an item that is new. The same armor will be upgraded to an weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also has its own set bonus. This can be a disadvantage in that it could cause the item to become more expensive if you don't need it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, if the player has enough reroll tokens to do this. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item that has a base of level 1 and completely different bonuses. This is useful for certain items, however it shouldn't be performed frequently, since it can use up many resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to modify their gear. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player repeatedly enters and exits water (or does not swim as dolphins). It can be upgraded multiple times, each time increasing the max roll by an increment of 10. This item can be very useful in PvP battles, since an item that is properly rolled it could be worth between 20 and 50x its non-upp'd value.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to increase the level of their available equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by offering the appropriate items and currency to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrading armor set pieces will also boost the defense base of the piece, whereas upgrading weapon equipment will increase the base damage and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade an object, it has a chance of failing. The failure rate increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will result in the item returning to its original state, which requires the player to purchase more items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item fails to upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. Additionally, the item will lose any bonuses it gained such as crit chance, attack damage, and all other effects that are associated with that effect (for instance, an increase in heal over time or the speed of reloading). However, the user can still continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that if a weapon gains an increase in crit chance, the increase is applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade item. For instance, a standard equipment item could have five upgrades with a cost of 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items are less expensive per upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. The player will still need to carry every piece of gear they wish to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade items to equipment requires different amounts of the ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the cost listed above.
