World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade of an item upgrader mod (click here) allows players to boost the gear rating of an item upgrader mod up to 700 points and give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory and heading to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their distinctive stats. (For instance the perfect broken point armor that is rolled can be used in melee PvP). Other items such as weapons don't really change after an upgrade, and aren't worth the cost.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to increase their numeric stats, such as the chance to crit, attack damage, PvE and PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Many weapons also have an unaffected bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a unit. In certain instances, this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon upgrades on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity and level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while a +3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will continue rise until it requires a higher tier of Smithing Stones, at which point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons also change the stats of the base. While this is usually a good thing but it can also have negative effects as well. Upgrades can make things impossible to use, unless you are very lucky.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to boost their performance. For example, if you upgrade chests or helms, it will boost its defense base while gloves and belts will increase their strength and dexterity. Armor also offers the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it could change its roll to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading in addition to their respective values. This means that an upgrade from an 8 attack-damage sword to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in a weapon gaining 33% attack damage. The 3% doesn't mean that the weapon will strike three times less, since it is an absolute number.

A weapon can also be rerolled using the green button that has circling arrows in the menu for items. This will roll the item and change its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's level or connect to the status of your account.

Armor

Making a few improvements to your armor can make huge differences in your ability to endure. Certain sets provide massive boosts to poison, curse, fire and magic resistance, making the journey through difficult terrain a breeze. In general, the more defense you have on your character, the greater health you can receive from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.

To upgrade your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains available in the game and to unlock each fountain, you have to complete an additional quest involving the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main side quest and mastered the fountain in question, you can then talk to any Great Fairy to open up the armor upgrading menu.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels, and the amount of material and Rupees required to complete each will vary. You'll require anything from three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade your first armor piece, and between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade the next one. The Champion Leathers, as an example, can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to stay ahead in frigid environments with a lot of foes. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other hand, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense to ensure you can survive a raid with your comrades.

Be aware that armor can't be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll have to focus on upgrading it for physical power if you're Warrior or Spell Power if you're a Mage. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you will still be wearing at the end of the story, such as the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town in Gerudo Town, you can unlock some perks on your armor. Generally, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be beneficial to have a few upgrades to your chest armor and helmets to permit you to sneak past certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that when consumed by the player, give an immediate effect. There are five types of potions with different effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to enhance their effectiveness. Additionally the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding glowstone dust or redstone to the potions.

Upgrades to potion cost a certain amount of XP, which can be earned by making them on a table or in an chest of the Alchemist. The price of upgrades is dependent on the kind of potion you wish to upgrade, as well as on the item level upgrade's Mark Level as well as its rarity.

To upgrade a potion, click right on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open an GUI that allows you to select the potions that you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they will offer when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches up to five at a time, and their XP will be added to the total amount of XP you have.

Once a potion has been upgraded, it won't degrade until you re-use it, or break the bottle it's stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to rename it.

There were a few updates to the mechanics of potion in version 1.7.2. For instance splash potions now have a duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the item hover display). The table of potion can now be made using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. In contrast to the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions cannot be mixed in cauldrons. Additionally, using a potentio in a cauldron that is full drains the contents and replenishes the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions that are made using splash and dragon breath potions. Redstone is also added to potions that are lingering to increase their effect. The table of potions is laid out more in line with the Java Edition, and new potions were introduced, including the potion of leaping, the potion of decomposition, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket is an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece of jewelry. It could also be a small ornament or object that serves a purpose, but is not important such as a thimble. In some cultures a trinket is a way to show affection or friendship between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. In contrast to other upgrades for items, trinkets can be exchanged at will without losing their stats.

The upgrade vendors are found in major cities and the capital of each zone, as well as in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are offered with gold, tokens or fragments of a rare trinket.

Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to buying a new trinket. It is possible to upgrade the player for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket comes with the same level of base as the previous trinket but will also have an additional 1% bonus upgrade.

Once the old Trinkets are not usable they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase both their power and value over time. They can be traded among players which makes them a good alternative to gold.

Players must upgrade their most valuable items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are first upgraded before their secondary gear and other equipment that they won't replace in the near future (such as an earring or a cloak). It is also important to consider your class's preferred stats when deciding the items to upgrade. For example when Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tankers, they should be focusing on upgrading their helm, chest, shoulders, and belt.

After they've become unusable trinkets are able to be upgraded to a greater level. The new trinket has an additional 1% bonus. However, a re-upgrade can destroy the old trinket in the event that it is not salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an alternative salvage tool that is higher-end. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still cheaper than buying a new one.
