Are You Making The Most You Item Upgrade
WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades give you an increase in certain statistics. Each upgrade items increases the item level by +3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.
The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.
The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your equipment. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every several weeks.
The cost of upgrades will be based on the current item upgrading level of the item being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than buying new equipment from other sources. For instance upgrading a Benthic chest piece to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points while buying a similar item from another player will costs 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapons, tools, armor, and other accessories. They can be purchased by players from item upgrader mod; mouse click the next page, upgrader NPCs in exchange for different currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any tool, weapon or armor. The button will show a preview of an item's next upgrade level in the event that there are enough materials.
Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot of the item and the current level of the item upgrades. For instance weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades offer a discount on the Flightstones. After an item has been upgraded to a certain level and is degraded, it can be sold and returned to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currency types.
A lot of locations offer upgraders for items, including the main Island and a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount as well as a chance to obtain a new upgrade recipe. The upgrade discount increases according to the number of items being upgraded. It can also be boosted by having players complete specific achievements or complete quests.
Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II there is no upgrader for items at the beginning of Icewind Dale. Instead, the NPCs that can be used to upgrade require several methods that are both an improvement but also a drawback.
In Season 3, many new features were added to the upgrade system. After a player has upgraded to a specific level for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same level will cost less. This is even if the items are from a different set of equipment.
The discount is available to all accounts. In the same way, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed for upgrades is also cut and is not available until players reach certain achievement milestones.
Crests
When upgrading gear in WoW players have a variety of options. Flightstones are an item that is available to everyone for upgrading. Crests are more specialized, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are a crucial part of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.
The first thing to note is that crests can only be spent on equipment of a particular rank, and that every rank has different requirements for upgrading. The simplest and simplest upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade requires up to 20 crests, contingent on the kind of equipment that is being upgraded.
Players can earn crests through working through content that is of the appropriate level, which means walking around and doing outdoor activities for lower-tier gear, dungeons or raids of any difficulty for higher-tier items or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses and dungeons to obtain endgame gear. These crests are then exchanged with an upgrader for the item such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn, in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and routes.
Using these new currencies isn't too difficult however, the system will introduce a few modifications to the upgrade process. For instance, when an item reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change is intended to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters, rather than relying solely on seasonal loot.
It's also essential to use crests wisely, as they are only used for one purpose. For instance it's best to utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests with the best equipment you have and keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you're planning to make. This is particularly true for items such as rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount on the account will only apply when all slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
