Item Upgrade Tips That Will Change Your Life
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations can be applied.
For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of an item, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks and spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To create them, you need a higher level reroll token. Enhanced upgrades require a common item upgrader kit, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next Success is being rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
During the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item upgrader kit. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. The system is a great way for players who wish to get an edge in battle, but don't want to burden their wallets. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to acquire them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is reached.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at once. Additionally each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be added in addition to an appropriate amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add items to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after a player has sufficient materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will increase by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its highest level, upgrades will not be available to it. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer an added bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Items upgrades enable players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade Tokens.
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Some items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but because it allows players to gain the most value from a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade item component that is incorporated into the item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an Best item upgrade.
If you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any upgrader NPC for the Item Upgrader Kit you want to upgrade.
