The only downside I found to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. You can replace the mopping cloth when needed, but it's difficult to take the mount off for washing manually. I've noticed that any plush carpet the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, which can cause abrasions.
