The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. The most significant innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. This uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with a picture of an object that it encounters, meaning you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, picking up dirt and spills with ease without leaving any trace that was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't sweep in areas that you don't would like. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off with your voice.

Its design is also a step above the competition, with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy rather than a loud, loud one. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System also self-empties, which will reduce your cleaning time.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ swiftly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in place, rather than scattering it around the floor. It was able capture sand, small gravel and even a bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot achieve this feat. And it did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.

The j7+, while not as intelligent as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot and cannot clean the stairs, is an option for those who require both mopping and a vacuum. It's not expensive and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and it is sometimes difficult to determine whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors A hybrid is the best automatic floor cleaner choice. These bots are equipped with a water tank, so they can vacuum and mop at the same time. These bots also have many additional features like smart vacuum cleaner mapping and small object avoidance and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. They're costly at retail, but they often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our most loved robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and although it's not equipped with certain features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great choice if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an ideal choice for homes that have many furniture pieces. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums aren't able to meet. The Q5+'s navigation system is also top-quality, with a few misses along walls or in corners.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products, can be controlled by just a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map or re-label rooms.

If you select the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is simple. It also features an impressive LCD display, which is nice to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people, but it's one that will aid in keeping the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design is one of the top in the market however, it's costly.

It is a relatively small base station that looks beautiful and can be hidden when not in use. The station's main selling point is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions, and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to do this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive and efficient, too. It's one of the few robovacs I've tested that does an excellent job of collecting debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren’t as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it could get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other competitors and doesn't come with a docking station to create a clean zone for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who want an automated vacuum that can do it all.

If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are other options on the market. Many eufy models cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides a similar in-app experience with more features, including the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums that have the right combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning on hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a reasonable price. It's easy to set it up, just attach one of the side brush and then turn it on. Then plug in your charging dock. The app guides you through several steps to connect to your Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock close to an electrical outlet and plenty of room to allow it to move around, however.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact It will fit under many couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is more modest than other models, sporting a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs an area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from its rivals. It makes use of an integrated map to create an image of the immovable items in its path. It keeps track of the things it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. When it's time to recharge, it returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning from where it left off.

The sleek G30 isn't without its faults however. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower cost of operation. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and performs better on unfinished carpet or floors with low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin, which does not require more emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be emptied as often and has less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
