best robotic mop and vacuum robot vacuum and mop - Read the Full Guide, Combos

robot mop vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They pass our cleaning tests, and can take care of a variety of flooring. Choose models that permit users to select between different types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Check for an app that lets you save maps, set schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.

When I tried the S1, it was quick to locate our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even over raised thresholds without issue. However it was a bit difficult navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rug.

The S1's docking station automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to each mopping session. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's water tank holds enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before it has to be empty, but it will differ based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors frequently to avoid them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with a number of unique features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, as opposed to just moving the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station, if required.

This robot combo has a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum for those areas that the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled as required. It comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that can easily pick up dirt and other debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it can be stuck on small mats and rugs at my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with two spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops can also be refilled at the top of the station as required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush will give you a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by an additional side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.

Its navigation system is nimble that can navigate narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can go from one room to another without having to reverse direction. This is a great feature for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than its competitors however, and tends to leave a thick space around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

Its app has a streamlined and intuitive interface that will be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust suction power, mop setting and view 2D and 3-D maps. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will require a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are fantastic in removing dirt and debris but they aren't able to reach every bit of dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once a week, especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to do just that. It's easy to connect it to your WiFI network at home and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it does not have mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.

Although it's no longer able to mop floors, the Q5 still offers the best automatic vacuum and mop vacuum and mopping performance we've seen on a robot at this price. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and set the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.

The mops are also quite impressive with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt, and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have issues with high-pile carpets or area carpets, but it didn't remove cat litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home. This really helps it get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. The device also collects dust in a larger dustbin that means you have empty it less frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. The robot vacuum reviews can recognize carpets and increase suction if necessary. The app also allows you to mark areas that you want it to avoid this is a useful feature.
